Day 1 – Sondrio

We meet at Malta International Airport at 10:25 for our direct KM Malta Airlines flight KM624 to Milan Linate. The flight departs at 12:25 and arrives at 14:25. After collecting our luggage, we travel by coach to Sondrio, a charming town in the heart of the Valtellina Valley, surrounded by the Alpine mountains. On arrival, we check in at the centrally located Grand Hotel della Posta 4* and settle into our rooms.

Day 2 – Tirano – Bernina Express – St. Moritz

After buffet breakfast, we depart for Tirano, where we board the scenic Bernina Express train (extra). During this journey of just over two hours, we enjoy magnificent views of mountains, lakes and glaciers amid the Alpine landscape, before arriving in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Here, we have free time to explore this elegant town and enjoy its surroundings. Afterwards, we return to our hotel in Sondrio.

Day 3 – Livigno – Bormio

After buffet breakfast, we depart for Livigno, an Alpine resort known for its beautiful scenery and duty-free shops. We have the opportunity to take the Carosello cable car (extra) to enjoy spectacular mountain views. There is also free time for shopping and lunch. Afterwards, we continue to Bormio for a walk through its historic centre, among narrow streets, squares and small shops. We then return to our hotel.

Day 4 – Lake Iseo – Lovere – Monte Isola

After buffet breakfast, we depart for Lake Iseo. Our first stop is Lovere, a picturesque lakeside town, where we have time for a walk to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We then continue to Sulzano, where we have the opportunity to take a boat (extra) to Monte Isola. A short crossing brings us to the fishing village of Peschiera Maraglio, where we enjoy free time among narrow lanes, traditional houses and lakeside restaurants. Afterwards, we return to Sondrio.

Day 5 – Bellano – Lecco – Groups Departing from June to October

After buffet breakfast, we check out of our hotel and depart for Bellano, on the shores of Lake Como. Here, we have the opportunity to visit the Orrido di Bellano (extra), a natural gorge with waterfalls and walkways offering views of this impressive natural attraction. We then continue to Lecco, where we have free time for lunch, to explore the town centre and enjoy a lakeside stroll. Later, we depart for Milan Linate Airport for flight KM627, departing at 20:45 and arriving in Malta at 22:50.

Day 5 – Lecco – Groups A and B

After buffet breakfast, we check out of our hotel and depart for Lecco, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como. We have free time for a lakeside stroll and to enjoy the final moments of our holiday. We then continue to Milan Linate Airport for flight KM625, departing at 15:35 and arriving in Malta at 17:35.
