Visiting: Vienna, Graz, Melk, Dürnstein, Schönbrunn Palace, Krems and Bratislava

Monday: We meet at Malta International Airport at 06:45am for flight KM514, departing at 09:25am and arriving in Vienna at 11:45am. We then transfer by coach to Vienna, the city of waltzes and the capital of Austria. We stop at Schönbrunn Palace to visit its beautiful gardens and famous Christmas Market. Free time to explore before continuing to the Hotel Ananas – 4 Stars for check-in. Later, those who wish may join the tour leader for an introductory walk to begin discovering this wonderful city.

Tuesday: Breakfast and a delightful day excursion to Graz. We begin with a walking tour of the city's historic centre, famous for its charming streets and impressive architecture. The tour starts at the Hauptplatz (Main Square), where we admire the historic buildings surrounding the square, before continuing through narrow, picturesque streets leading to important landmarks such as Graz Cathedral and the Mausoleum of Ferdinand II. Afterwards, those interested may climb Schlossberg or take the funicular railway to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Free time follows to enjoy traditional Austrian cuisine and some shopping. We then return to Vienna, where you will have free time to explore at your leisure.

Wednesday: Breakfast followed by a sightseeing tour of Vienna, where we visit some of the city's most important landmarks, including the Vienna State Opera, Parliament Building, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and several Christmas Markets. Afterwards, free time for lunch and to continue enjoying this beautiful city. Vienna is famous for its enchanting Christmas Markets, each with its own unique character. The most popular is the Christkindlmarkt at Rathausplatz, a traditional market with more than 150 stalls offering everything from handcrafted gifts to Austrian festive delicacies. Return to the hotel.

Thursday: Buffet breakfast. Today we enjoy a fascinating excursion to Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. We discover this charming city on the banks of the Danube River, visiting the impressive Bratislava Castle, which overlooks the city and offers spectacular panoramic views. We then explore the historic centre, filled with magnificent buildings and landmarks such as the Main Square, Františkánske Square, and many other attractions. Free time for lunch and to enjoy a stroll through the city's Christmas Market.

Friday: Buffet breakfast followed by a full-day excursion to the beautiful Wachau Valley, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and charming historic villages. Along the way, we admire castles, rolling hills, and stunning views of the Danube River. We visit Krems, a town with over 1,000 years of history, Dürnstein, famous for its ancient houses and narrow streets, and Melk, home to the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, built in the Baroque style (entrance extra). At 4:00pm, transfer by coach to Vienna Airport for flight KM517, departing at 8:35pm and arriving back in Malta at 10:55pm.
