Visiting: Stockholm, Copenhagen, North Zealand, Geilo, Sognefjord, Dalsnibba, Briksdal Glacier, Geiranger Fjord, Littlehammer and Oslo. 

Monday
We meet at Malta International Airport at 14:00 for flights LH1313/LH810 to Stockholm via Frankfurt, arriving at Stockholm Airport at 23:40. Transfer by coach to the centre of Stockholm, where we will be accommodated at the Mornington Hotel, 4 star.

Tuesday
You cannot be in Stockholm without visiting Drottningholm Palace and the famous Vasa Museum. Drottningholm Palace (extra entrance) is the private residence of the Swedish royal family. We will have time to admire its magnificent gardens. Afterwards, we continue to the island of Djurgården where we visit the Vasa Museum. Here we will see a warship that spent three centuries underwater and is now fully restored in this famous museum (extra entrance). Free time. In the evening, we visit the Old Town with the tour leader. Dinner in a historic restaurant with traditional food.

Wednesday
After buffet breakfast, continue discovering with us the beauty of Stockholm – a city built on a number of islands. We see the Cathedral where the coronation of the Swedish monarchy takes place, best known for its gigantic statue of Saint George; the City Hall (extra entrance) where the Nobel Prize ceremony is held; the Opera House and Stortorget – the oldest square in the city. In the afternoon we will have free time for shopping and personal sightseeing. Dinner in a restaurant.

Thursday
Breakfast and departure towards Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark. We cross the bridge that connects Sweden to Denmark, opened in the year 2000. Upon arrival at the hotel, room allocation will take place at the Tivoli Hotel, 4 star, located in the city centre. In the evening, a walk with the leader.

Friday
Today we discover the city of Copenhagen: a beautiful city that will fascinate you. Together with the local guide we see the City Hall, the monument of Hans Christian Andersen, and the charming statue of the Little Mermaid on the seafront. We also visit Christiansborg Castle (extra entrance). Afterwards, if the weather permits, we go for a boat trip (extra) along the canal and enjoy the beauty of the city from the water. After that, free time for personal sightseeing and souvenir shopping.

Saturday
Today we see the Gefion Fountain, linked to a legend. We continue the route to see Kronborg Castle, which appeared in Shakespeare’s famous drama Hamlet. In the evening, those who wish may visit the famous Tivoli Gardens (extra entrance), located just a few minutes from the hotel. A place of entertainment offering many activities for an enjoyable evening, with plenty of restaurants where one may have dinner.

Sunday
A beautiful excursion to North Zealand. We pass through the heart of the beautiful forest until we reach Hillerød, where we visit Frederiksborg Palace (extra entrance), built by King Christian IV in 1625. We visit its magnificent gardens. Afterwards, we continue towards the centre of Copenhagen, where we spend some time before starting our journey to the Port of Copenhagen to board the ship that will take us to Oslo in Norway. Night spent in inside cabins. Buffet dinner on board.

Monday
We go up onto the ship’s deck to enjoy the breathtaking scenery as we enter the Oslo fjord. Buffet breakfast on board. We arrive in Oslo at 09:30. During the next five days, our eyes will feast on the beauty of fjords, mountains, glaciers, and waterfalls. We begin our journey by coach towards Geilo. Accommodation at the Ustedalen Hotel, 4 star, and dinner at the hotel.

Tuesday
We begin the journey through magnificent scenery, endless and stunning, until we reach Flam, a beautiful village in the region of Aurland. We continue our route to board the Sognefjord cruise (extra). We then continue towards Sogndal. Accommodation at the Quality Sogndal Hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Wednesday
Surely everyone has heard about the beauty of the glaciers. So join us for an excursion to the Briksdalsbreen Glacier. A landscape of streams and mountains that captivates you with its beauty. A mass of ice fills the valley between the mountains. These unforgettable scenes along our journey will stay with you forever. Upon arrival at Briksdalsbreen, we leave the coach, and those who wish may take an electric car (extra) which takes us closer to the glacier. After enjoying the natural beauty, we return to the hotel for dinner.

 

Thursday
Another day of spectacular scenery until we reach Geiranger. On our way we pass roads with picturesque landscapes of lakes and snow-covered mountains. Our first stop will be in the charming village of Lom – a tourist spot. We continue to Mount Dalsnibba, the highest point on the Golden Route, from where we can enjoy a fantastic panorama of mountains with impressive scenery – an excellent location for postcard-like photos. It is easy to forget the mountain’s name, but you will never forget what you have seen! Accommodation at the Geiranger Hotel, 4 star. Dinner at the hotel.

Friday
We continue to enjoy the beauty for which Norway is famous. A wonderful opportunity where we will have the chance to take a cruise on the famous Geiranger Fjord, known as “The King of Fjords”. During this cruise we enjoy fantastic scenery of mountains and stunning waterfalls, until we reach Hellesylt, where from on board we see the famous waterfall. We return to the hotel and have free time. Dinner at the hotel.

Saturday
We leave the village of Geiranger with many beautiful memories and begin our journey towards the city of Oslo, the capital of Norway. On our way we make a stop in the town of Lillehammer, then continue our journey to Oslo. Accommodation at the Radisson Blu Hotel, 4 star. Afterwards, an evening walk with the leader.

Sunday
Breakfast. Oslo city tour by coach with a local guide so that together we can see the main places of interest. Among others, we see the main street Karl Johans, the Parliament, the Royal Palace, Aker Brygge, the City Hall, Akershus Fortress, and Vigeland Park. In Holmenkollen we also see the famous ski jump, Holmenkollbakken. In the afternoon we have free time for personal sightseeing. Those who wish may take a cruise inside the Oslo Fjord on a “Pirate Ship” (extra charge).

Monday
Oslo / Malta. Breakfast and departure to Oslo Airport for flights LH861/LH1315 to Malta via Frankfurt. We arrive in Malta at 22:55.
