Saturday
We meet at Malta Airport at 12:20 for flight KM 490, which departs at 14:20. We arrive in Zurich at 16:45. Transfer to Mulhouse in France, located on a plain between the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine River. This lovely town has a population of 112,000. Upon our arrival in Mulhouse, we proceed to the Hotel Bristol 3 star+, located in the city centre. Room allocation, dinner at the hotel for those who opted for the Half Board supplement.
Sunday
After breakfast, we depart for a wonderful excursion into the heart of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, where together we will visit Interlaken and the Trümmelbach Falls. We begin our journey towards Lauterbrunnen where, amid breathtaking scenery, we will see numerous streams of water on both sides of the road until we reach the Trümmelbach Falls. Here we will see the famous Trümmelbach waterfalls (entrance extra) – 10 glacial waterfalls located inside the mountain, where the water flows down with a force of 20,000 litres per second. We then depart for Grindelwald to take the cable car (extra) up to Mount Männlichen, from where we will enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and villages. Our final stop will be in Interlaken, where we will take a walk with the leader and from the Höhematte admire the beautiful panorama of the Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger mountains. Return to the hotel.

Monday
Today we enjoy a very interesting excursion to the city of Strasbourg and Riquewihr in France. Our first stop will be Strasbourg, where together we will see Petite France, the Old Quarters, the Palais de l’Europe, the European Parliament, L’Orangerie and the famous Notre Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg. Free time for souvenir shopping. In the afternoon we depart for the charming medieval village of Riquewihr. A village with very well-preserved architecture, where time seems to have stood still. Together we will discover this small village with many lovely little shops, including the Christmas shop which is open all year round.

Tuesday
Today’s outing takes us to the beautiful city of Lucerne in Switzerland, the capital of the canton that bears the same name. Among other sights, we will see the famous Wooden Bridge, which is a landmark of the city, and the Jesuit Church built in the Baroque style. We continue to the Old Town with its picturesque streets, see the Town Hall and the Lion Monument – a monument in honour of the Swiss Guards who were killed during the French Revolution. After the city tour, there will be free time for souvenir shopping. Those who wish may choose to take a cruise (extra) on Lake Lucerne.

Wednesday
Today is a free day, but for those who wish we will organise a fun-filled day for both young and old at Europa Theme Park (Extra). Here you will find everything one could wish to see in a world of dreams and adventures, such as roller coasters, canoeing, shooting alleys, ghost trains and many more attractions that will surely make for an unforgettable day. With the ticket, you can make unlimited use of the rides and shows available. Return to the hotel.

Thursday
We visit the city of Colmar, a place renowned for the regional wines of Alsace. We take a ride on the tourist train (extra) and admire the historic centre, rich in art and culture, with its doll-like houses, as well as the so-called Little Venice – quarters full of canals that truly remind us of the city of Venice. We also see the Bartholdi House – the sculptor who designed the Statue of Liberty in New York. It is no coincidence that many refer to Colmar as one of the most beautiful small towns in Europe. We return to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will have free time during which you may visit the Musée National de l’Automobile, the Zoo, or enjoy shopping in the pedestrian area near the hotel.

Friday
Discover with us the beauty of the Black Forest in Germany. We begin our excursion towards St. Peter’s, where we stop for sightseeing. We then continue to Triberg, a mountain resort known for its cuckoo clocks and music boxes, all handcrafted by local artisans. Afterwards, there will be free time for souvenir shopping. Our final stop will be in Titisee, one of the most picturesque places, enchanting visitors with its beauty, surrounded by a lake. What could be better than a stroll around the lake or a delicious slice of Black Forest cake! We return to the hotel.

Saturday
We depart by coach to Neuhausen to see the famous Rhine Falls – among the most spectacular waterfalls in Europe. We stop to enjoy and admire the beauty of nature. There will be an opportunity to have something to eat (extra) or take a short walk near these magnificent falls. We then depart for Zurich Airport with many beautiful memories. Check-in for flight KM491, departing at 17:40 and arriving back in Malta at 19:55.
