Prague, Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov, Pec Pod Sněžkou
Tuesday 29 December: We meet at Malta International Airport at 14:45 for flight KM538, departing at 17:20 and arriving in Prague at 19:50. Upon arrival, we transfer to the Hotel Prague Season – 4 stars. Room allocation and free time. Several restaurants offering options to suit all budgets are located near the hotel.
Wednesday 30 December: Buffet breakfast and excursion to Český Krumlov, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Bohemia. This UNESCO World Heritage town enjoys spectacular scenery and a unique historical atmosphere. On our way to Český Krumlov, situated on the Vltava River, we pass through charming villages and beautiful countryside. We visit the historic centre and the castle (entrance extra). We also visit the Christmas Market in Svornosti Square. Return to the hotel, with the opportunity to continue visiting other Christmas Markets around the beautiful city of Prague.
Thursday 31 December: The city of Prague has so much to offer visitors, so today we enjoy a city tour to discover some of its highlights, including Prague Castle, a vast complex containing St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, and the Old Royal Palace. We continue with visits to the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague, Kampa Island, Charles Bridge, and more. Afterwards, you will have free time to further explore this magnificent city beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. In the evening, we will organise a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration (not included) with food, drinks, music, dancing, and entertainment. Alternatively, you may celebrate the end of the year in the main square.
Friday 01 January 2027 – Happy New Year! Today is a relaxed day! Breakfast. Late in the morning, those who wish may join the tour leader for a visit to the Botanical Gardens and Prague Zoo (transport and entrance fees not included), one of the city’s major attractions. Here we can see Polar Bears, Red Pandas, Tigers, and many other animals. Afterwards, we return to the hotel and enjoy free time. Today, the Christmas Markets at Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, and Na Kampě Square remain open until 22:00.
Saturday 02 January: A very interesting excursion to Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia. During our journey, we will enjoy the beautiful countryside before reaching this famous spa town, nestled in a picturesque valley. Together with our guide, we visit the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, see the famous Spa Colonnades, and admire the thermal fountains. Karlovy Vary is renowned for its crystal craftsmanship and is home to some of the world's finest crystal brands. No visit would be complete without tasting the famous spa wafers, the traditional Becherovka liqueur, and naturally, the mineral spring water. Free time before continuing to the airport for KM Malta Air flight KM539, departing at 20:40 and arriving in Malta at 22:10.
