BRUSSELS CHRISTMAS MARKETS & BELGIUM GEMS

Wednesday 09 December: We meet at Malta International Airport at 14:30 for flight KM420, departing at 16:25 and arriving in Brussels at 19:35. Upon arrival, transfer by coach to the centre of Brussels, where we will stay at the Bedford Hotel 3 Stars+.
Thursday 10 December: Breakfast followed by a city tour of the beautiful city of Brussels. We visit major attractions including the famous Grand Place, beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and festive decorations, Manneken Pis, the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, and St. Michael & St. Gudula Cathedral. Afterwards, free time to enjoy Brussels' famous Christmas Markets, located throughout the city, including: Grand Place, Place de la Bourse, Place de la Monnaie, Place Sainte-Catherine, Place De Brouckère. The Brussels Christmas Markets are widely regarded as among the largest and most beautiful in Europe.
Friday 11 December: After breakfast, we depart for a full-day excursion to Bruges, one of Belgium’s most beautiful medieval cities, often referred to as the "Venice of the North." We enjoy a city tour discovering places of interest while strolling through picturesque streets, historic squares and charming canals, all beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and festive ornaments. We also enjoy a traditional canal boat cruise, offering a unique perspective of Bruges’ magnificent medieval architecture and famous landmarks. There will be free time to enjoy the renowned Bruges Christmas Market, take a romantic stroll, or capture memorable photographs of this enchanting city.
Saturday 12 December: Excursion to Antwerp, an elegant and modern city renowned for its diamond trade, stylish shopping streets and impressive historic architecture. Together with the tour leader, we explore the city centre and visit attractions including: Grote Markt, Cathedral of Our Lady. The beautifully decorated main shopping streets Free time to enjoy the festive atmosphere, visit the Christmas Market, or enjoy some shopping in the heart of this vibrant city. We return to Brussels at approximately 15:00, leaving plenty of time to continue exploring and enjoying this lively capital city.
Sunday 13 December: After breakfast, we enjoy a magical day exploring the beautiful Ardennes Region of Belgium with a full-day excursion to Dinant and Namur.Our first stop is Dinant, a picturesque town situated on the banks of the River Meuse, renowned for its spectacular scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Upon arrival, we stroll along the riverside promenade, admiring the colourful houses, historic churches and breathtaking landscapes. During the Christmas season, Dinant is beautifully illuminated with festive lights and decorations, creating a truly magical atmosphere. We then continue to Namur, the elegant capital of Wallonia, where we explore its historic streets and enjoy the festive ambience. After a memorable day, we proceed to Brussels Airport for flight KM421, departing at 20:25 and arriving back in Malta at 23:20.
