GRAND HOLLAND & THE TULIP FESTIVAL
Discover the beauty of Holland among the colourful flowers of Keukenhof, picturesque canals and traditional windmills, with a visit to the beautiful city of Antwerp in Belgium.

Day 1 – Rotterdam
We meet at Malta International Airport for our flight to Amsterdam, departing at 07:10 and arriving at 10:00. After collecting our luggage, we travel by coach to Rotterdam, a city renowned for its modern architecture. Upon arrival, we proceed to the centrally located Holiday Inn Express 3* for room allocation. Afterwards, we have free time and join the tour leader for a walk to begin exploring the city.
Day 2 – Antwerp – Kinderdijk
After breakfast, we travel to the beautiful city of Antwerp in Belgium. We enjoy a city tour with the tour leader to see the main sights, including Groenplaats, the exterior of the Cathedral of Our Lady and the statue of the artist Rubens. We walk through historic streets and buildings towards the Grote Markt, surrounded by traditional houses and the town hall. We also have free time for lunch and shopping. Later, we return to Holland and stop at Kinderdijk, famous for its windmills and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we enjoy the typical Dutch scenery, and those who wish may take a boat trip along the canals (extra). We return to our hotel.
Day 3 – Marken – Volendam
After a buffet breakfast, we depart on an excursion to Marken and Volendam, two picturesque fishing villages. In Marken, we admire the traditional wooden houses and enjoy a walk through its narrow streets. We continue to Volendam, where we enjoy the harbour, shops and typical Dutch atmosphere. We have free time for lunch, souvenir shopping and photographs. Afterwards, we return to Rotterdam, where we have free time to enjoy the city centre and its shops.
Day 4 – Efteling Theme Park (Optional)
After breakfast, we have a free day in Rotterdam to enjoy the city and go shopping. Those who wish may join us for a full day at Efteling Theme Park (transfers and entrance fee extra). This park offers a world of stories and entertainment for both children and adults, with roller coasters, family attractions and the famous Fairytale Forest. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel.
Day 5 – Keukenhof Gardens – Madurodam
After breakfast, we travel to the famous Keukenhof Gardens (entrance fee extra), where we enjoy the beauty of the spring flowers. We walk through gardens filled with tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and various other flowers, with plenty of time to admire the colours and take photographs. Later, we continue to Madurodam (entrance fee extra), a park featuring miniature models of many of Holland’s famous buildings and landmarks. We return to our hotel.
Day 6 – Amsterdam
After breakfast and check-out, we travel to Amsterdam for a city tour with the tour leader. We see the exterior of the Royal Palace, the National Monument and Dam Square. We continue to Rembrandt Square and the famous Skinny Bridge, admiring the canals and the city’s characteristic buildings. We also pass by the Anne Frank House to view it from outside. Afterwards, we have free time for lunch, shopping or further exploration of the city. Later, we transfer by coach to Schiphol Airport for our return flight to Malta, departing at 19:35.
