Day 01
We meet at Malta International Airport at 20:50 for flight W6 7766 departing at 23:10 and arriving in Skopje at 00:50. A short drive takes us to the centre of Skopje and to the Hotel Next Door Park 4 star.
Day 02
Buffet breakfast. We will have a city tour of Skopje with an English-speaking local guide, visiting both the new and the old parts of the city. We will see the most interesting attractions such as Porta Macedonia, Skopje Fortress, Macedonia Square, the Stone Bridge, as well as the historic streets of the Old Town. We will visit the Memorial House of Mother Teresa and St. Holy Salvation Church. Free time for lunch (extra). Afterwards, we continue our excursion to Mount Vodna to take the cable car and visit the Millennium Cross. Return to the hotel, free time, and dinner at the hotel.

Day 03
After buffet breakfast, we have prepared for you a very interesting excursion to the wine region, but first we stop at the archaeological site of Stobi, located at the confluence of the Crna and Vardar rivers. It was the largest city in the northern part of the Roman Empire and a major city in the Province of Macedonia. Among other things, we find large sanctuaries and the famous Theatre. We then proceed to Chateau Sopot Winery, where together we will have the opportunity to see how wine is produced and enjoy a tasting of different wines, followed by lunch (included). We return to Skopje, but before arriving we stop at the East Gate Shopping Mall. Afterwards, we continue to the hotel and enjoy free time.

Day 04
Breakfast and departure by coach towards Ohrid via Mavrovo, famous for its cheese. We stop at the Korab Trinca complex, well-known as one of the best cheese producers in the country. After some free time, we continue travelling along the Radika River to visit Rajcica Monastery. We proceed to the centre of Struga and have free time for lunch. We continue to Ohrid and upon arrival we check into the Hotel Nova Riviera 4 star, located in the centre. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 05
Buffet breakfast. We have prepared for you a city tour of Ohrid, where we will have the opportunity to visit places of interest. A walk along the lakefront inspires us as we enjoy the narrow, picturesque streets leading uphill towards the Byzantine churches and Samuel’s Fortress. We continue our excursion with a cruise around Lake Ohrid, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon we visit St Naum Monastery. Return to the hotel. In the evening, a special night out where we will attend a venue where we will be served a traditional dinner with folkloric music (included).

Day 06
Full-day excursion to the city of Bitola. Our first visit will be to the Archaeological Site Heraclea Lyncestis, where we admire the beautifully preserved mosaic floors. This very important site dates back to the 4th century BC. We continue to Bitola, taking a walk along Shirok Sokak Street admiring the Neoclassical architecture, houses, cafés and restaurants. We then visit the Old Bazaar, walk towards the Green Market, and view historic sites such as the Clock Tower and Yeni Mosque. Afterwards, we have free time for lunch (extra) and souvenir shopping. Return to Ohrid and dinner at the hotel.
Day 07
Breakfast and a half-day excursion to Bay of the Bones, an archaeological complex located on the excavation site of Ploca Micov Kamen, near Gradishte and Pestani along the Ohrid lakeside. We continue to Sveti Naum Monastery. Return to the hotel. Tonight dinner is not included so you may take the opportunity to enjoy traditional food of your choice in one of the many restaurants around the hotel.

Day 08
Transfer by coach to Matka Lake via Kitcevo, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this canyon and take a boat trip across the lake which will take us to Vrelo Cave. Afterwards, we enjoy a traditional lunch (included) and continue to Skopje Airport for flight W6 7765, departing at 20:55 and arriving back in Malta at 22:40.
