Visit: Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Triberg Waterfalls, Lake Titisee, Colmar, Riquewihr & Rhine Falls

First Day: We meet at Malta International Airport at 12:00 for flight KM490, departing at 14:25 and arriving in Zurich at 16:50. Upon arrival, we travel by coach to Mulhouse in France, situated on a plain between the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine River. This charming town has a population of approximately 112,000 inhabitants. Accommodation will be at the Hotel Bristol 3star, located in the city centre. Every year, Mulhouse hosts its famous Christmas Market in Place de la Réunion. The market is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. For those taking the Half Board Supplement, dinner will be served every evening.

Second Day: After buffet breakfast, we enjoy a fascinating excursion to the elegant and important city of Strasbourg. Together we visit Petite France, the Old Quarters, the Palais de l’Europe, the European Parliament, L’Orangerie Park, and the famous Strasbourg Cathedral. We then visit the renowned Strasbourg Christmas Market, which dates back to 1570, making it the oldest Christmas Market and one of the largest in Europe. Free time will be available to enjoy the festive atmosphere and admire the beautiful Christmas illuminations.

Third Day: A delightful excursion takes us to Riquewihr and the beautiful town of Colmar. Our first stop will be Riquewihr, a picturesque village renowned for its natural beauty and fairy-tale charm. We stop here for sightseeing before continuing to Colmar, famous for the wines of the Alsace region. During our tour we admire the historic centre, rich in art and culture, with its colourful half-timbered houses and charming canal district known as Little Venice. We also see the birthplace of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor who designed New York’s Statue of Liberty. It is no surprise that Colmar is often considered one of the most beautiful small towns in Europe. Here we also visit the famous Colmar Christmas Market and admire the spectacular festive decorations and illuminations.

Fourth Day: Breakfast followed by a free day to enjoy Mulhouse and its festive atmosphere, Christmas Market and shopping area, including stores such as C&A, Primark and many others. Those interested may visit the fascinating Automobile Museum (entrance fee extra). Alternatively, we will organise an optional full-day excursion to Europa Park (transfer and entrance ticket extra), one of Europe’s most popular theme parks.

Fifth Day: Today we enjoy the beauty of the Black Forest in Germany. Our excursion begins in Triberg, a mountain resort famous for its handmade Cuckoo Clocks and Music Boxes, crafted by local artisans. Free time will be available for souvenir shopping before continuing to Lake Titisee, one of the most picturesque locations in the Black Forest. Enjoy a relaxing walk around the lake or perhaps a delicious slice of traditional Black Forest Cake. We then return to the hotel for dinner.

Sixth Day: We depart by coach for Neuhausen to visit the spectacular Rhine Falls, the largest and most impressive waterfalls in Europe. We stop to admire this magnificent natural wonder before continuing to Zurich Airport with many wonderful memories. Check-in for flight KM491, departing at 17:40 and arriving back in Malta at 20:00.
