Wed 01 Apr

Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport at 12:00 for check-in on Ryanair flight FR8888, departing at 14:10 and arriving in Palma de Mallorca at 16:15. Upon arrival, transfer to our 4-star THB hotel in Playa de Palma, ideally located just a short walk from the beach, cafés, restaurants, and shops. Hotel check-in followed by a familiarization walk with the tour leader.


Thu 02 Apr

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today we explore the beautiful city of Palma on a guided tour where history and elegance intertwine. We begin with a visit to the majestic Palma Cathedral, an iconic Gothic masterpiece renowned for its impressive architecture and magnificent stained-glass windows. We then stroll through the atmospheric Old Town, wandering along narrow streets and discovering charming squares such as Plaza Mayor and Plaza de Cort, home to the Town Hall. The afternoon is at leisure to relax or enjoy the hotel facilities.

 

                                                                                   


Fri 03 Apr

After breakfast, we journey into the breathtaking Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, aboard the historic 1912 Sóller Train departing from Palma.
This nostalgic one-hour ride passes through olive, almond, and orange groves, crossing bridges, impressive viaducts, and travelling through 13 tunnels amid spectacular mountain scenery.
We visit the charming town of Sóller, followed by a visit to Port de Sóller, where you can stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful bay, all accompanied by a local guide.
Return to the hotel. Later, you may join the tour leader for an optional coastline boat ride.  

 

Sat 04 Apr

This morning we visit two iconic landmarks of Mallorca.
We begin at the spectacular Drach Caves, exploring extraordinary underground galleries filled with stalactites and stalagmites. The visit includes a short classical music concert on Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world. Next, we continue to the Majorica Pearl Factory, where we learn about the craftsmanship behind the famous Majorica pearls, internationally renowned for their quality and beauty. Free time is provided to visit the shop and purchase a special souvenir. Return to the hotel and enjoy free time to further explore Playa de Palma.

After breakfast, we embark on a full-day village tour with a local guide.
Our first stop is Deià, a picturesque hilltop village offering stunning views of the mountains and the sea. We then continue to Valldemossa, where we stroll through its charming streets, admire scenic viewpoints, enjoy shopping, and taste the famous Coca de Patata. We also visit the Valldemossa Charterhouse, once home to Frédéric Chopin. Along the route, we stop at the dramatic Sa Foradada viewpoint, a striking rock formation pierced by a natural hole in the sea.Finally, transfer to the airport for our return flight on Ryanair FR8889, departing at 20:45 and arriving in Malta at 22:50.
