Hotel 4* in Verona - Hotel San Pietro
Day One
We meet at Malta International Airport at 10:30 for flight KM624, which departs at 12:45 and arrives at Linate Airport at 14:45. We depart by coach towards Desenzano del Garda for a stop to enjoy the beauty of this lovely town. Afterwards, we continue to Hotel San Pietro 4-star in Verona, a romantic and historic city in the heart of Northern Italy. Accommodation in fully air-conditioned rooms.
Day Two
A most interesting excursion during which we will visit some of the most picturesque villages around Lake Garda. We begin our journey by coach to Riva del Garda, where we will see the old part of the town filled with arcaded buildings in medieval style and ancient palaces. We then continue to Cascata del Verone. We depart by boat (not included) to Limone, a very attractive town with narrow streets full of shops selling leather goods and souvenirs. Our final stop will be Malcesina, another beautiful location.
Day Three
A day full of continuous fun for both adults and children. Therefore, for those who wish, a full-day excursion to Gardaland will be offered. This famous amusement park is like a Mini Disneyland and is the largest and most beautiful theme park in Italy (entrance ticket included). We will enjoy spectacular shows and fantastic attractions. There will be no dinner today. Two return transfers to the hotel will be provided, one at 18:30 and another at 22:30.
Day Four
After breakfast, an excursion to the famous city of Venice, the romantic city, the island of 411 bridges and 150 canals. Upon arrival, we take a boat (included) that will take us to Piazza San Marco. During our tour of this city, we will admire St Mark’s Cathedral, Riva degli Schiavoni, the Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge, and the Grand Canal. We will stroll through the narrow and picturesque streets as well as along the canals. Those who wish may go up the Campanile to enjoy a magnificent view of Venice and the surrounding sea, or visit the Doge’s Palace (extra entrance fee), one of the most important and impressive monuments in the city, where we will explore this historic palace that once served as the seat of the Venetian Government and the residence of the Doge. We return to Verona.
Day Five
A very adventurous day as today we will go to CanevaWorld Resort, which consists of two parks: Movieland Studios and the Aquapark (entrance tickets payable), a world of fun for the whole family. At Movieland Park we experience Hollywood-style studios—without watching films—enjoying attractions, live shows, and Super Animation monuments. The Aquapark offers beautiful pools, slides, and plenty of water fun. At 17:30 we return to the hotel by transfer. In the evening, we go by coach to Bardolino for a stroll around the town, where there is a lovely atmosphere, free time, and then return to the hotel.
Day Six
After breakfast, we offer a half-day excursion to the city of Trento, a beautiful historic city in the heart of Trentino. We will visit the historic centre with Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of San Vigilio, then continue along Via Belenzani with its ancient buildings and frescoes. We will see the famous Castello del Buonconsiglio, an important symbol of the city. Free time for shopping for souvenirs in the picturesque squares, while appreciating the alpine and cultural atmosphere that makes Trento a unique destination. We return to Verona, where there will be free time, or for those who wish, a walk along Via Mazzini to Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori, stopping in front of Juliet’s House with its famous balcony.
Day Seven
Buffet breakfast, followed by a very interesting full-day excursion during which we will visit Parco NaturaViva Safari Park, Sirmione, and Borghetto sul Mincio. Our first stop will be Parco NaturaViva Safari Park in Bussolengo (extra entrance fee), where we will see various animals while touring the park by coach. The park extends over seven kilometres and offers a wonderful experience for both adults and children, providing a unique opportunity to observe African savannah animals up close in their natural habitat. We then continue to Sirmione, the pearl of Lake Garda. We will take a guided walk with the tour leader through the picturesque streets filled with boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Those who wish may take a boat trip (extra) around the lake, during which we will also see Maria Callas’s villa. We then visit Borghetto sul Mincio, which undoubtedly enchants everyone who visits it and is declared one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Afterwards, we transfer to Linate Airport for flight KM627, which departs Milan at 20:45 and arrives in Malta at 22:55.
