Tuesday
We meet at Malta International Airport at 09:30 to check in for flight KM395, which departs at 11:50 and arrives at Amsterdam Schiphol at 14:55. Upon arrival at Schiphol Airport, we transfer to Rotterdam, where accommodation will be at the centrally located 4-star Holiday Inn Express. Check-in, followed by an outing with the tour leader to begin exploring the city centre of Rotterdam.
Wednesday
After buffet breakfast, we will have an excursion to Marken and Volendam. Today we will experience the typical Dutch countryside, visiting these two fishing villages. We will also have the opportunity to visit the village of Zaanse Schans, situated on the River Zaan and famous for its windmills. In addition, we will visit a traditional farm where cheese is still produced using traditional methods, as well as see the manufacture of the famous Dutch wooden shoes, known as clogs. We then return to the hotel. In the evening, there will be an outing with the tour leader to the city centre.

Thursday
Today we will visit the beautiful city of Antwerp in Belgium. We will enjoy a city tour featuring major landmarks and places of interest, including Groenplaats, the Cathedral of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal), the statue of the artist Rubens, Gothic churches and alleyways, as well as the remains of the ancient stone walls and the Grote Markt (Main Market Square). We then continue to Kinderdijk in the Netherlands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nowhere else in the world can such a large concentration of windmills be found as in this village. Those interested may take a boat trip along the canals (optional extra).


Friday
A half-day excursion to Alkmaar, where we will witness the famous cheese market. People dressed in traditional costumes carry cheese on specially designed carts for trading, creating a unique spectacle in the town’s main square. There will be free time for shopping for souvenirs, after which we return to Rotterdam, where you will have free time to continue exploring the city centre.
Saturday
Today we will enjoy a full day in the southern part of the Netherlands. We will begin with a stop in Delft, which is famous for its pottery. We will also visit a small factory where the pottery is handcrafted. After some free time, we will continue our journey to Madurodam (entrance fee extra), a unique park where we can admire many of the Netherlands’ most famous landmarks and buildings in miniature form. Our final stop will be The Hague, where we will be able to see the Binnenhof, the seat of the Dutch Parliament. We will then return to Rotterdam.

Sunday
Today is a free day, but for those who wish, we will organize a full-day excursion to Efteling Theme Park (transport and entrance fee not included), one of the Netherlands’ most popular amusement parks for both children and adults. Here you will find roller coasters, Top Spin, Pirate Ship, Magic Bowl, and family attractions such as the Trackless Train, Ocean Self Control Plane, W-Wave Flying Boots, as well as many other rides and shows for everyone. All of these attractions make this day a truly memorable experience for all. We will return to the hotel afterwards.
Monday
After breakfast, we will depart for the centre of Amsterdam. A guided walk with the tour leader will allow us to see places of interest such as the National Monument, Rembrandt Square, Dam Square, and more. There will then be some free time before we continue to Schiphol Airport for check-in for flight KM387, departing at 17:55 and arriving in Malta at 21:00.
