Meet at 12:30 with the tour leader at the Malta International Airport. Check in for our flight EK110 departing Dubai and arriving at 15:35. Lunch on board.   

 

Mon     24  Aug.           Arrival in Bangkok

Arrive in Dubai at 01:05 (local time) and continue your journey to Bangkok on flight EK376, departing at 03:45. Enjoy breakfast on board and arrive in Bangkok at 13:20 (local time). Upon arrival, transfer to your 4-star Hotel Arnoma, conveniently located in the city center. After checking in and settling into your rooms, take a familiarization walk around the area and enjoy some free time to relax. In the evening, join your tour leader for an optional dinner at Baiyoke Sky Restaurant, featuring a seafood and international buffet on the 78th floor, offering spectacular city views.

 

Tue      25 Aug.            Floating Market Saduak and Woodland Muangmai.

Get ready for another fun-filled day exploring two of Thailand’s most unique attractions — the Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak and Woodland Muangmai. We’ll start with a scenic drive, about 100 km west of Bangkok, passing through some of Thailand’s most beautiful countryside. Our first stop is the colorful Floating Market, where boats packed with fruits, flowers, and handmade goods glide through narrow canals. Take in the lively sights, sounds, and smells — it’s a truly unforgettable experience!  Next, we’ll head to Woodland Muangmai, a fascinating place that showcases Thailand’s famous woodcarving traditions. You’ll explore ten themed rooms, each filled with amazing wooden artworks and carvings that tell stories of Thai culture and creativity. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Thai lunch (included) at the Thai Village on-site — the perfect way to relax and soak up the local atmosphere.

 

 Wed    26 Aug.            Grand Palace, City & Temple Tour

After buffet breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion exploring Bangkok’s most iconic sites. Begin at the Grand Palace Complex, home to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) — one of the world’s wonders. At the heart of this stunning temple lies the Emerald Buddha, carved from a single piece of jade and revered as the holiest religious object in Thailand. Continue our city tour, visiting some of Bangkok’s most magnificent temples: Wat Traimit, housing the largest solid gold Buddha in the world (5.5 tons!) Wat Pho, Bangkok’s oldest temple, home to the 45-metre-long Reclining Buddha. In the evening, join your tour leader for an optional dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River, featuring live music and breathtaking views of Bangkok by night.

 

Thu      27 Aug.               Ayutthaya & River Cruise

After breakfast, depart for Ayutthaya, Thailand’s former capital. Explore the city’s magnificent temples and historic ruins:  Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the holiest temple within the old Royal Palace, with its iconic three chedis — the only structures restored after the temple’s destruction, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, with its towering stupa, golden statues, and rows of seated Buddhas in saffron robes. In the afternoon, cruise back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River, taking in the scenic rural lifestyle along the riverbanks. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board (Included) as you relax and soak in the views.

 

Fri        28  Aug.           Transfer to Chiang Rai & The White Temple

Transfer to the airport for a direct flight (1 hr 20 min) to Chiang Rai, a province rich in natural beauty, history, and culture. Known for its stunning landscapes and traces of ancient civilizations, Chiang Rai is also home to diverse hilltribes with fascinating traditions. On the way to the hotel, we’ll visit the world-famous Wat Rong Khun (The White Temple), renowned for its striking all-white façade and intricate, flamboyant decorations.Check in at the 4-star Hotel Sann, located in the heart of Chiang Rai city. In the evening,  dinner at a local restaurant.

 

 

Sat       29 Aug.            Golden Triangle & Hill Tribes

Today’s excursion will take us to the famous Golden Triangle found in Chiang Rai - the point where the three countries of Laos, Burma and Thailand meet on the mighty river Mae Kong. The Hill Tribes village marks the start of our excursion. Here you will experience Thailand’s famous Long Neck Women. Next is the fun boat ride by Don Sao in Laos.  Dinner at the hotel.

 

Sun      30 Aug.           Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai – Hot Springs

Another exciting day begins as we depart Chiang Rai for Wiang Pa Pao, home to the Mae Kachan Natural Hot Springs. After enjoying this natural wonder, we continue to Chiang Mai to explore the city’s most captivating sights. Lunch before checking in at the 4-star Hotel Suriwongse, conveniently located in the city center. In the evening, join your tour leader for an optional Night Safari, one of the most beautiful in the world. Twice the size of Singapore’s Night Safari and spread over 300 acres, it is just 10 km from Chiang Mai city center, offering a thrilling and unforgettable wildlife experience.

 

Mon     31 Aug.            Doi Inthanon National Park & Waterfalls

A fantastic day in Chiang Mai awaits! We’ll explore Doi Inthanon National Park, a true natural gem with rugged mountains, lush tropical forests, mighty rivers, and breathtaking waterfalls. After an included lunch, we visit the Royal Project Gardens, showcasing innovative agricultural projects and local flora. Our final stop is the stunning Mae Ya Waterfall, one of the park’s most spectacular sights — a must-see highlight of Doi Inthanon.


Tue      01 Sep.            Doi Suthep & Hmong Village

No visit to Chiang Mai is complete without a trip to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the sacred temple perched atop Doi Suthep mountain. Established in 1383, it remains one of northern Thailand’s most revered sites. We’ll also visit a nearby Hmong Village near the summit of Doi Pui, home to around 1,000 Hmong hill tribe residents, offering a glimpse into their traditional way of life.

 

Wed     02 Sep.            Chiang Mai to Kanchanaburi – River Kwai Experience

Early morning flight back to Bangkok (1 hr 15 min) before traveling by private coach to Kanchanaburi, a charming town in western Thailand.Our first stop is the famous Bridge on the River Kwai, an iconic historical landmark. We then continue to Pung-Waan Jungle Resort, a delightful retreat along the River Kwai, perfect for a memorable stay.Late in the afternoon, we have a scenic long-tail boat ride to Kaeng Lawa Cave, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the area. Return to the resort for dinner at the hotel.

 

Thu      03 Sep.            Kanchanaburi – Elephant Ride, Bamboo Raft & Death Railway

After breakfast, visit a local elephant camp for a memorable jungle ride, followed by a relaxing bamboo raft trip along the River Kwai, allowing you to fully take in the river’s natural beauty. After an included lunch, enjoy a scenic train ride along the historic Death Railway, passing dramatic wooden viaducts built by POWs, perched on cliffs overlooking the River Kwai. Dinner at the hotel.

 

Fri        04 Sep.            Transfer to Pattaya - Phra Pathom Chedi

Today we depart for Pattaya Beach, the world-famous seaside resort on Thailand’s eastern shore. On the way, we’ll visit Phra Pathom Chedi, the second tallest stupa in the world. Arrive in Pattaya in the late afternoon and check in at the Hotel Siam @Siam located in the city centre. Dinner at the hotel.

 

Sat       05  Sep.           Suan Nong Nooch Village

After breakfast, visit Suan Nong Nooch Village in Chonburi, a beautifully landscaped Thai-village-style park spanning 500 acres. Explore the orchid nurseries and botanical gardens, and enjoy cultural performances, including an amazing elephant show. Return to the hotel for dinner.

 

Sun      06 Sep.            Coral Island

Enjoy a half-day trip to Coral Island aboard speedboats. Surrounded by colorful coral reefs, the island boasts long stretches of white sandy beaches and quiet bays perfect for relaxation. Spend the afternoon at leisure for personal sightseeing and shopping. In the evening, join an optional cabaret show at Tiffany’s, Thailand’s most spectacular Parisian-style performance.

 

Mon     07 Sep.            Sanctuary of Truth & The Biggest Jewelry Shop in the World’

After breakfast, visit Wang Boran – Sanctuary of Truth, a remarkable all-wood structure filled with sculptures inspired by Buddhist and Hindu motifs. Towering 105 meters high, this visionary project began in 1981 and is planned for completion in 2050.Continue to visit a Gem Factory and ‘The Biggest Jewelry Shop in the World’. Return to the hotel for the afternoon and enjoy free time for shopping or relaxing.

 

Tue      08  Sep.           Leisure Day in Pattaya

A day at leisure for personal sightseeing, beach time, or last-minute shopping. Rooms are available until 18:30. Dinner at the hotel before transferring to Bangkok Airport at 20:00.

 

Wed     09 Sep.            Return to Malta

Fly back to Malta by EK385 at 01:35 via Dubai. Arrive back to Malta by EK 109 at 1400.
