Saturday 22nd May : Meet with the tour leader at the Malta International Airport at 12:30. Check in for our flight TK1372 to Dubai departing at 15:35. Lunch on board.
Sunday 23rd May: Arrive at Kansai Airport by flight TK0086 at 19:05 (Local time). At 20.30 we fly to Osaka (breakfast on board) and arrive at 21:15 (local time). Transfer to our 4 stars Hotel Almont (or similar) in Kyoto.
Monday 24th May: Arashiyama & Fushimi Inari
After breakfast, we will begin the day with a traditional kimono-wearing experience, giving you the opportunity to dress in a beautiful Japanese kimono (subject to availability). We will then visit the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, where we can enjoy a leisurely walk through the spectacular bamboo groves and explore the surrounding area. Afterwards, we continue to Fushimi Inari Taisha, one of Kyoto’s most iconic Shinto shrines, famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates winding up the hillside. We will then continue to our 4-star hotel Almont Kyoto (or Similar) Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Tuesday 25th May- Full day city tour of Kyoto
After breakfast, a full-day sightseeing tour of Kyoto. Our first stop is the magnificent Kiyomizu-dera Temple, followed by time to explore the charming historic streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. In the afternoon, we visit the iconic Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto’s most celebrated landmarks. We then continue to the atmospheric Gion district, Kyoto’s famous geisha quarter, where we can enjoy a leisurely excursion through its traditional streets. Overnight in Kyoto.
Wednesday 26th May – Kyoto, Nara & Osaka
Today we depart for a morning visit to the impressive Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of the Tokugawa shoguns. We then continue to Nara, arriving around 1:00 p.m., where we visit the famous Nara Park and Todaiji Temple, home to one o Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu or Similar f Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statues. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through Naramachi, the city’s charming historic district, with its traditional wooden houses and quaint streets. Then we proceed to Osaka, and check in at the 4-Star Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu(or Similar) Overnight in Osaka.
Thursday 27th May – Universal Studios Japan
Breakfast. An exciting full day at Universal Studios Japan. Enjoy a fun-filled day exploring the park’s fantastic attractions, thrilling rides, immersive themed areas and entertainment, with plenty of time to discover the many experiences on offer. At approximately 5:30 p.m., we leave the park and return to our hotel. Overnight in Osaka.
Friday 28th May: Free Day in Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full free day at leisure in Osaka. Take the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, discover its vibrant shopping areas, local markets, restaurants and attractions, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Overnight in Osaka.
Saturday 29th May: Full-Day Osaka City Tour
After breakfast, a full-day sightseeing tour of Osaka. Our first visit is to the impressive Osaka Castle, where we will explore the castle grounds and enjoy an inside visit to this iconic landmark. We then continue to the Umeda Sky Building, offering spectacular panoramic views across the city. In the late afternoon, we visit the lively Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi areas, famous for their vibrant atmosphere, shopping, entertainment and local dining. We return to the hotel. Overnight in Osaka.
Sunday 30th May: Osaka, Okayama & Hiroshima
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart Hiroshima. Travelling towards Hiroshima with a fascinating stop in Okayama. We visit Korakuen Garden, one of Japan’s most beautiful traditional gardens, before continuing to Okayama Castle for a photo stop. We then explore the charming Kurashiki Canal District, known for its beautifully preserved historic buildings, picturesque canals and traditional atmosphere. In the late afternoon we proceed to Hiroshima and check at the 4 -Star Daiwa Roynet Station Hotel (or Similar) . Overnight in Hiroshima.
Monday 31st May: Full-Day Hiroshima City Tour & Miyajima
After breakfast, a full-day tour of Hiroshima. We begin with a visit to Hiroshima Peace Park, including the Peace Memorial Museum and the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, offering an important and moving insight into the city’s history. We then continue to Miyajimaguchi, from where we travel to Miyajima Island to visit the magnificent Itsukushima Shrine, renowned for its iconic torii gate standing in the sea. After exploring the island, we return to Miyajimaguchi. Overnight in Hiroshima.

After breakfast, a full-day tour of Hiroshima. Tuesday 1st June: Hiroshima to Odawara – Hakone & Fuji Tour
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and prepare your luggage for the journey to the Hakone area. Your large suitcase will be collected from the hotel lobby with the assistance of the tour leader and guide and sent separately to your hotel in Tokyo. Please keep a small overnight bag with you. Transfer to Hiroshima Station for the Shinkansen bullet train to Odawara, departing at 9:07 a.m. and arriving at 12:38 p.m. From Odawara, we continue to the scenic Hakone area, where we enjoy a Lake Ashi cruise, followed by a ride on the Hakone Ropeway, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and volcanic landscapes. Check-in at The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko (or Similar). Overnight stay in the Hakone area.
Wednesday 2nd June: Fuji, Kamakura & Yokohama Tour – Tokyo
After breakfast, travel towards Kamakura, a historic coastal city renowned for its temples and cultural heritage. We visit Kotoku-in Temple, home to Kamakura’s impressive Great Buddha, before continuing to Yokohama. Here, we explore the vibrant Yokohama Chinatown, with its colourful streets, shops and restaurants, followed by a visit to the Minato Mirai waterfront district, known for its modern architecture and beautiful city views. We then continue to Tokyo, where we collect our luggage and check in at the 4-Star Miyako City hotel Takanawa (or Similar) Overnight in Tokyo.
Thursday 3rd June: Full-Day Tokyo Tour Today we start with a full-day sightseeing tour of Tokyo. Our first stop is Tokyo Skytree, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, offering spectacular panoramic views over Tokyo. We then continue to Asakusa, where we visit the historic Senso-ji Temple and enjoy time exploring Nakamise Street, lined with traditional shops and local souvenirs. In the afternoon, we head to Shibuya, famous for its bustling crossing, with a photo stop at the iconic Hachiko Statue. We end the day with free time for shopping in the elegant Ginza district before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Tokyo.
Friday 4th June: Free Day at Tokyo
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full free day at leisure in Tokyo. Take the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, discover its many attractions, enjoy some shopping, or simply relax and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Japan’s capital. Overnight in Tokyo.
Sat 5th June: Depart for Tokyo Airport
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Today we start our visit to team Lab Planets, an immersive digital art experience offering a unique and unforgettable visit. We then continue to Odaiba, where we enjoy a photo stop at the famous Statue of Liberty replica and visit Diver City Tokyo Plaza, a popular shopping and entertainment complex. At approximately 4:30 p.m., we depart for Narita Airport, arriving around 6:00 p.m. for our evening flight. At 9:15 p.m., we depart Tokyo on Turkish Airlines flight TK0301. We arrive to Malta by Flight TK1369 through Istanbul.
