Beijing: Arrive Beijing by EK 306 at 15:10 (Local Time) transfer to our 4 Star ‘Novotel Xinqiao’ Located in the heart of Beijing. Check-in dinner and overnight

 

TUE 03 SEP

Beijing: Following Breakfast A whole day is allotted for exploring Beijing. We begin by touring Tian' Anmen Square, which is home to numerous monuments demonstrating the communist movement and, more specifically, Mao's impact on modern Chinese history. After that, we head to the Forbidden City, which is home to the Palace Museum, the largest and best-preserved palace complex still standing. Next, make your way to the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors offered prayers for prosperity and peace. Dinner in the evening, then an Acrobatic performance at a nearby theater.

WED 04 SEP

Beijing: Today, we travel to the Mutianyu Great Wall of China, which is renowned for its picturesque surroundings. These include rich pastures and dense forests that change color throughout the year. Take a cable car ride back and visit the Olympic Stadium, Jade Carving, and the holy road for a photo op. Dinner and rest of the night

 

THU 05 SEP

Beijing/Xi'an: After breakfast, take a boat ride on the well-known Kunming Lake to see the Summer Palace. Proceed. After that, we head to the airport for our flight to Xi'an. Arrive at the four-star "Grand Dynasty Culture Hotel," situated in the heart of Xian, one of China's historic capitals. Dinner and rest of the night.

FRI 06 SEP

Xi'an: Today we travel to see the world-famous 6,000 life-size terracotta warriors and horses, interred alongside Qin Shi Huang, the first Chinese emperor. We stop at the "Hua gig Hot Springs" on the way back; during its 3,000-year history, this location has been home to numerous palace complexes and a well-known imperial swimming pool. Tang Dynasty Music and Dancing Show follows the evening dumpling dinner.

 

SAT 07 SEP

Xi'an: morning meal. See the Great Mosque in Xian, which is situated on Huajue Lane northwest of the Drum Tower and is one of the biggest, oldest, and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. Seeing the Great Mosque is highly recommended, not only because of its rich history spanning centuries, but also because of its unique architectural style that combines traditional Chinese and Muslim architectural elements. Proceed with our tour of China's best-preserved wall, the Ancient City Wall. After that, go to the Wild Goose Pagoda, a revered Buddhist site and an incredibly well-preserved historic structure. SUN 08 SEP

Guilin and Xi'an. breakfast. Head to the airport to catch our domestic flight to Guilin, one of the most picturesque cities in China. Visit the largest and most impressive cave in Guilin, the "Reed Flute Cave," upon arrival. There are 790 feet in this cave. We will travel about 400 meters along a zigzag path lined with brilliantly colored stalactites and stalagmites. Arrive at the four-star "Lijiang Waterfall Hotel," which is situated in the heart of the city and close to some of the busiest retail districts.

 

MON 09 SEP

Guilin: Transfer to the Lijiang pier after breakfast to board a cruise along the Li River that will take you to Yangzhou (snack on board). One of the most well-known and beautiful locations in China is the Li River; National Geographic Magazine in the United States named it one of the World's Top Ten Watery Wonders. The Li River is also depicted on the current 20 Yuan banknote as a tribute to its beauty. On-board lunch. Get off the boat at Yangzhou and walk along West Street. Return to Guilin by private coach vehicle.

Breakfast in Suzhou and Guilin. Proceed to Guilin Apt. for your flight to Shanghai, from where you will proceed to Suzhou, one of the Yangtze Basin's oldest towns. The city is frequently referred to as "The Venice of the East" because of its network of interconnected waterways and picturesque surroundings. Following dinner, we'll take you to see a folk dance and music performance at the Garden Masters of the Nest. Despite being the smallest residential garden in Suzhou, this one is the most striking due to the clever use of space, which gives the impression of a much larger space than it actually is. Dinner and Spend the Night at the Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel

 

WED 11 SEP

Suzhou: We'll be exploring Suzhou all day long today. We start by going to Tiger Hill, also referred to as Surging Sea Hill, which is a sizable hillock that is roughly 14100 square meters in size. Next, take a tour of a silk factory to learn about the production of Chinese silk since the fourteenth century. After that, continue your tour to the Couples Retreat Garden, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside other traditional Suzhou gardens and is part of the Cultural Relics Unit. Next, we take a one-hour boat ride along the world's longest ancient canal, the "Grand Canal of China." Dinner and the night before.

 

THU 12 SEP

Suzhou / Shanghai: After breakfast, travel to Shanghai, the biggest city in China. However, first, we stop by Kunshan City, which is home to the historic town of Zhouzhuang and is located between Shanghai and Suzhou. Rich in produce, it is regarded as China's No. 1 Water Town. Waterways abound in Zhouzhuang, so having a boat is essential. The town fears a waterscape resembling the areas south of the Changjiang River, where homes are erected beside streams and rivers. After arriving, we go to Shen's house, the Double Bridge Pavilion, etc. The Zhou Zhuang River, Zhang's Hall, and Shopping Street are all cruised in the afternoon. Travel to Shanghai and make your check-in at the luxurious "Jin Jiang Hotel." You can get acquainted with the tour guide after dinner.

Shanghai: We have a whole day to explore the "Best of Shanghai" today. We begin our tour at People Square, which is encircled by magnificent buildings on all sides. Next, we head to the Shanghai Museum, which has a permanent collection and hosts a number of exhibitions with over 120,000 pieces, including western art, pottery, calligraphy, bronze ware, paintings, ancient Chinese coins, jade carvings, ancient furniture, and 5000 years of Chinese history. Finally, we visit Bund and Xin Tian Di. 

 

SAT 14 SEP

Shanghai: Following breakfast, we head to the Jade Buddha Temple, which is home to a priceless collection of Jade statues from Burma. Next, we visit the Yu Yuan Garden, which is one of Shanghai's most famous sights. It features pavilions, glittering pools teeming with carp, shaded alcoves, and pines that wistfully sprout from rockeries. Next, we head to Shanghai Old Street, also known as Miaoqian Dajie in the past. This historic business district is home to a variety of tourist destinations, retail establishments, places to see, and cultural displays. Its unique social appeal and extensive commercial history stem from the presence of the first bank, jewelry store, tea house, gold shop, and wine shop.

Shanghai: Following breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping and independent exploration. The rooms are available to us until 18:00. Dinner and the journey to the Shanghai airport.

 

MON 16 SEP

The EK303 flight to Malta via Dubai leaves at 00:05 and arrives in Dubai at 05:50. Return to Malta by EK107 at 09:30, arriving at 14:10.
