Discover Vancouver, spectacular mountain scenery and colourful gardens before sailing through Alaska’s breathtaking fjords, glaciers and coastal landscapes.

We meet at Malta International Airport at 04:00 to check in for Lufthansa flight LH1315, departing at 05:55 to Vancouver via Frankfurt. We arrive in Vancouver at 14:20 local time. Transfer to the 4-star Blue Horizon Hotel, situated on Robson Street, in the heart of Vancouver’s shopping, dining and entertainment district. After room allocation, join the Tour Leader for a walk to familiarise yourself with the hotel area.
We travel along the breathtaking Sea to Sky Highway, stopping near Squamish at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to admire British Columbia’s third-highest waterfall and take photographs. We continue to the Sea to Sky Gondola (tickets extra), rising above the coastal rainforest towards Habrich Ridge, with magnificent views over Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains. Our final stop is Whistler Village, situated at the foot of Whistler Blackcomb, where several events of the 2010 Winter Olympics took place. Enjoy time exploring the shops and cafés, walking along nature trails or simply relaxing in the fresh mountain air.
This morning we enjoy a half-day coach tour of Vancouver, introducing us to some of the city’s best-known sights, including Stanley Park, Shaughnessy, English Bay and Queen Elizabeth Park. We also visit Granville Island, with its lively market, souvenir shops and street performers. The afternoon is free for personal sightseeing and shopping.
Today we travel to Victoria on Vancouver Island, where we experience a touch of old England. We take the ferry (included) across the Strait of Georgia and through the scenic Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay. We visit the famous Butchart Gardens (entrance fee extra), with 50 acres of colourful flowers, winding pathways and fountains.
Today we explore Vancouver’s North Shore. Our first stop is the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, set in a beautiful river and forest landscape. Here we can watch for salmon returning upstream to spawn and observe wildlife that may appear around the river. We continue to the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, spanning the magnificent canyon (entrance fee extra). We then board the Skyride to Grouse Mountain, a 1.6 km journey offering breathtaking views over the forest, Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf Islands and nearby mountain peaks. There will be time to take the chairlift to the peak (extra), enjoy the Lumberjack Show or watch the Birds in Motion Show, subject to availability. A highlight may be observing the grizzly bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife.
Transfer to Vancouver Cruise Terminal to check in and board Serenade of the Seas for an unforgettable Alaska cruise. As we set sail at 16:00, we recommend being on the observation deck to enjoy the spectacular views of Vancouver.

We arrive at Vancouver Cruise Terminal at 07:00. After Breakfast, disembark and transfer to Vancouver Airport for Lufthansa flight LH493 to Frankfurt, departing at 16:15.
We arrive in Frankfurt at 11:00 and continue to Malta on Lufthansa flight LH1310, departing at 13:55 and arriving in Malta at 16:10.
